Face Off by JoieArt Face Off by JoieArt
The final piece of the Fallout commissions. Quicksilver and Deathtrap, mortal enemies, meet face-to-face on a cliff for the first time in the Equestrian Wasteland. Quicksilver has the combat shotgun, and Deathtrap has the sniper rifle installed on his battle saddle. I kinda want more backstory about these two.

When a pony walks into a gunfight bored, you put your bits on that pony!

This looks awesome, besides how amazing the two characters look, I'm really liking how the Equestrian Wasteland came out in the background. Great work! :D

Thank you! I was inspired by a screencap of FO:NV I saw with two couriers up on a cliff, looking down upon the wastes. I decided, "What a fun place for a gunfight!" and since I did a cityscape painting class last year, I was like, "I should practice that, even if it's super loose and fast!" And there's more explanation than you ever wanted, I'm sure. Haha! I'm glad you like it. ^-^

TL;DR.

Haha, joking! That's really interesting! Although I don't know a ton about FO:NV... I played it for a while, but I ran out of steam on it before too long, it simply wasn't 'wastelandy' enough I think. I never got to a point where I met a second courier. XD

Even loose and fast, the background fits the wasteland persona perfectly. :D

Speaking of Fallout: Equestria-ness though: I wanted to mention that I'm still really interested in getting that Littlepip button from you (as well as a bunch of others :D ).

Super! Did you get the message I had sent back to you?

And yeah, I've started playing NV but haven't gotten terrifically far into it... thesis sort of derailed my entire life for awhile, there. I actually just restarted my game of Fallout 3 b/c I hadn't turned it on in almost a year and had fully forgotten what I was doing. Hehe!

I did! And I just remembered, I was going to ask if there was any chance of getting your Portal Corgi (Portgi? Cortal?) Buttonized! I know I mentioned it in a note some time ago, and I think I remember you saying you intended to do two with it (one for each portal)... I have a few buttons I'd like to get from you, I guess! :D

And I've just started Fallout 3 up again... I'm realizing there's a lot of really difficult places out in the wasteland that I managed to sidestep.

Oh yeah I'll make buttons of any of my artwork for someone that wants 'em. Yeah I'd do Portal Corgi as two separate buttons because that's just more fun that way. So yeah troll through my stuff and let me know what you'd like buttons of (I think I noted you the list of what I already have to check against) and let me know!

Haha yeah I've only gotten so far as Megaton in my new replaythrough... but that's because I got distracted by an Ace Attorney game I hadn't finished and NOW I'm distracted by the new Animal Crossing that I finally caved and got. Too many video games, not enough time!

I know the feeling. It doesn't help that I was just convinced to give World of Warcraft a second chance, despite my growing list of titles to play through. XD
